Thozhargalin Karam Charitable Trust has planned to do an event for the tribal community that will benefit them for their betterment. Thus, through a field survey, the TKCT Team observed that, the Tribal women have no awareness about Sanitary Napkins and thus they are having many menstrual discomforts and problems
So the trust decided to educate them about napkins usage and benefits and to provide them an eco-friendly sanitary napkins that will not harm their health and assure their hygiene.
Hence, on June 19, 2022, Thozhargalin Karam Charitable Trust had distributed nearly 180 pieces fo eco friendly Sanitary Napkins produced by Green Delight Innovations, to the tribal women of Kondanoor, Kondanoor Pudur, Kandivali and Panapalli villages in Anaikatti Village, Coimbatore. They were completely educated about the usage, benefits, disposal methods by our executives of TKCT.
Following that, on Sunday (10th June 2022) TKCT had distributed the napkins to the tribal women of Kondanoor, Kondanoor Pudur, Kandivali and Panapalli villages in Anaikatti Village as the second phase of usage.
Those who haven't received in first phase were also provided with the napkins in the second phase.
Those who received in first phase had started using these napkins and shared a whelming feedback about its benefits.

TKCT remains incredibly grateful to Mr. Joshua, the Social Worker, who have been working for the betterment and upliftment of the Tribal community of Anaikatti group of villages, for being an helping hand to carry the event as two phases.
